Mandala 3: According to the “Great Round of the Mandala” this is Stage 7: The Squaring of the Circle (showing a strong sense of autonomy, and in this stage I am open to learning. This is the beginning of life lived according to my own values). Why Chinese? My daughter is teaching me some basic phrases, because I am headed to Shanghai next week. #china #shanghai #IAmFine #thankyou #hello #sorry #goodbye #mandala #arttherapy #drawing #instaart #balance #love #autonomy #learning #learningchinese

I have just 30 days before I set out on my bicycle on the 554 mile epic journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for the LGBTQ Community and to find a cure for HIV and AIDS. In order to ride, I have to raise $3000, and I am just $500 away from that goal. ANYTHING you can donate will help me. Malndala 2: According to the “Great Round of the Mandala” this drawing is a combination of Stage 5: The Target (an awareness personal suffering, without knowing the reason. This is my vulnerability, my anger, and my anxiousness) and Stage 9: Crystallization (my task in this stage is to enjoy my success to the fullest, without becoming too attached to it and understanding that in time this too will end.) #mandala #arttherapy #target #subconscious ##psychology #crystallization #instaart #anxiety #anger #awareness #spiritual #vulnerability #enjoysuccess #suffering #drawing

Mandala 1: According to the “Great Round of the Mandala”, my drawing is a combination of stage 6: The Dragon Fight (I am faced with an internal struggle in order to develop a distinct sense of self), and stage 9: Crystallization (achieving intellectual understanding of my own place in the world). #mandalas #arttherapy #DragonFight #Crystallization #drawings #instaart #internalstruggle #understanding #subconscious #creatingmandalas

Fun fact: every mandala can fit into one or more phases of the 12 stages of the “Great Round of the Mandala”. This type of doodling can reveal things about our personal life journey, and provide insight and healing. I am challenging myself (and you) to draw one mandala a day for one week. Let’s see what it says about us! #mandala #subconscious #arttherapy #healing #artchallenge #instadrawing #instaart #selfexpression #psychology #susannefincher #lifejourney
